Living in the centre
of London you expect to see one or two
unusual sights when you look out of
your bedroom window, but nine times
out of ten they're of a criminal nature.
A couple of weeks ago
I heard a commotion going on, and managed
to catch this chap on camera. There
was a van parked directly in front of
him shining pink light out on to the
pavement.
It turns out they chose
the crossroads outside to film the street
scenes of the new Madonna 'Sorry ' video.
I watched as an assortment of men were
man-handled in and out of the van in
which she was getting up to all kinds
of mischief. And here's the vid:

FEBRUARY
Amazingly the old
Fokker we took from Latvia at the end
of January managed to rattle its way over
to Estonia. On arrival I got the impression
that Edward and Tim weren't too impressed
with the accommodation sorted (at very
reasonable cost) through a friend of a
friend called Tuuli who is a cook for
someone who knew someone who used to work
at the Estonian Embassy.
However, we soon brightened up when we
were greeted by the cheery statue of Lenin
in the living room whose broken fingers
we used as coat hooks for the duration
of our stay.
The rooms turned
out to be a bit cramped and the mattresses
a little itchy, so we spent most days
outdoors trekking every Tallinn street
wearing obligatory ridiculous hats.
The following
day we stumbled upon what appeared to
be a Swedish trade travel show. At first
the boys didn't seem too keen, but after
a brief stroll around the hall, it was
interesting to see the measures to which
Swedes go to encourage foreign visitors.
We
celebrated the last day in Tallinn with
a few Tequilas. Edward got a bit worse
for wear and Tim disappeared. Luckily
we found him resting outside.
