National Drugs Helpline was part of the the Government’s solvents and drugs awareness inititaives run by the Health Education Authority.
I ran a campaign targeting music, style, youth and gay press. It included an exclusive national drugs survey with high circulation girls’ title, Sugar and giving away branded CDs through music titles and at events.
I also appealed for anyone who had suffered bad experiences with drugs to contact me to discuss them in confidence. This way I accumilated enough material to use in features across all media.
