Although he was a criminal and was renowned for brutally torturing many people, we are still proud of our Dick Turpin collection. Come along to see the orginal Rochester Winterman pistols which probably belonged to Dick Turpin. We have an actual size model of Dick wearing authentic clothing so you can really get an idea what he would have looked like. We've recently opened a Museum Shop where you can choose from an exciting range of Dick Turpin merchandise and memorabilia.

If
you have an interest in farming you'll feel right at home in Little Ottle
Museum. We have a range of farming implements dating all the way from
1500 to 1900. From authentic woolforks dating back to 1680 to a seed plower
made in 1850, we have them all. Thanks to modern technology we're also
delighted to offer a computer interactive adventure which allows you to
explore what it was like to be a farmer in days gone by. |

| We also offer some particularly unique artefacts including a genuine 13th century milking stool and a potato knife which was used by a cook who used to work for someone who knew Cardinal Wolsey. | ![]() ![]() |
