Examinations and the need to pass them is something most closely associated with childhood. However exams remain a constant throughout many professional careers. During childhood children can often fail to do themselves and their teachers justice by performing badly. They often talk about 'feeling blank', 'mental blocks', or feeling so nervous that they can't think properly.

This kind of anxiety is treatable and our experience of using EMDR in this area has assisted many students of all ages. Sometimes exam nerves arise from a difficult early test experience or sometimes they're created over the period running up to exam time, as the pressure to succeed becomes more and more intense.

A couple of sessions is usually all that's needed to sort this out for a student to fulfill his or her full potential.
